Who will teach you about hate? Who will show you right from wrong, that only white is good and black is bad? Or will you see the value in every color? Will someone laugh at the shape of your body, and say you are too fat or too thin, too tall or too small. Or will you learn it is those who are weak that laugh at others. Will someone point at your freckles or pimples, or eyes that are blind or legs that can't walk, or sneer at the way you sound when you talk. And, if teased, you know it is wrong to point and judge in return. Will someone call you names and watch you cry, using slang and gestures to hurt you inside? Or will you know not to be fooled by those who lie. Will someone tell you that you are not enough or too much of a bother if you don't have a mother or father? Or will you know the world is your family and you are loved by so many. Will someone tell you that your heart does not matter, that it is the clothes on the body and shade of the face that makes one an acceptable race? Do not believe those that can't see your heart, because you are who you are, and you are here for a reason. Never react to hate with hate. You might see or hear someone use harmful words when hating another. But that is them. And you are the only one who can choose to like, or accept, or love someone else. Who will teach you about sharing and friendship? Who will it be?
