It depicts human tragedies in a society out of the ordinary, along with the great obstacles for peace and democracy that remain, even after the successful October's uprising.

Extreme poverty, corruption, autocracy, ethnic problems, NATO aggression, manipulation of the population, through mass media controlled by the state and a hunger for democracy - is Serbia 1999.

Director Goran Radovanovic puts together a documentary that examines these issues with elements of sarcasm and razor sharp political commentary.

A native of Belgrade, Goran Radovanovic is prolific. He is probably the most awarded Balkan documentary film author and has worked with many producers including: Academy Award producer of "First Floor Features" - Amsterdam.
